In the late 1800s Yasumura edited a number of picture books about plants. This gallery shows the twenty six pictures he included in Shiki no Hana Zono (Four Seasons Flower Garden). Click on a picture to enlarge it. This book was published in 1891. The pictures were drawn uisng the realistic Nihonga style which was the preferred artistic style in Japan at the time. The name of the artist was not given.
